Second INDUCT School in Salamanca
From 25-29 September the INDUCT consortium got together in Salamanca, Spain to present updates on the research progress of the 15 Early Stage Researchers (ESRs) and to exchange knowledge and skills. During lectures, workshops and interactive meetings various topics concerning current technology for people with dementia were discussed. The topics ranged from recruitment to research methodology and from publishing tips to patenting. A real asset to this Summer School was the involvement of the European Working Group for People With Dementia (EWGPWD) from Alzheimer Europe. All ESRs were greatly inspired by the members of the working group and their informal caregivers, with their input being an invaluable source of firsthand information and experiences.
Besides all the work-related opportunities, there was also some time to enjoy the Spanish sun, the local cuisine and the magnificent hospitality of the Spanish people.
